Use Outlook.com For Email With Your Personal Domain

Use Outlook.com For Email With Your Personal Domain If you got in on Google Apps for free before Google shut the party down, congratulations. If you're starting a new domain now and looking for someone to host your domain's webmail, getting a Google Apps account for your domain just got a little more expensive. If email is all you're looking for, you may want to try using Microsoft's new Outlook.com instead.

Of course, we still think Google rules for apps and email for your own domain, but if you're not interested in paying their new Google Apps fees, Microsoft's all-new Outlook.com is pretty good. If you like it enough to use it primarily for your domain, Digital Inspiration has a five-step method to do it. You'll need to modify your domain's DNS and MX records to send mail services over to Outlook, but Outlook.com makes it easy. Hit the link below for step-by-step instructions.
