Getting older comes with some great perks, wisdom and self-assuredness being top among them. But it can also have unwanted effects on your body and health, which starts in your 40s for many.
Dr. Mike Moreno, author of "The 17 Day Plan to Stop Aging," has four anti-aging tips to help you combat the health decline that can come with getting older. His first piece of advice? Lose weight.
"Every extra pound you carry puts extra stress on each of your bodies' systems and can accelerate aging," Dr. Moreno said.
